Sustainability Frontiers/Centre for Human Rights and Citizenship Education Partnership
Sustainability Frontiers has entered into a close working partnership with the Centre for Human Rights and Citizenship Education (CHRCE), Dublin City University, Republic of Ireland.
The seeds of the partnership idea sprang out of David Selby’s visit to the then St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra in January 2015 to speak to and engage with a roundtable of key players in Irish development and sustainability education on the Irish National Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development and to then to lead a seminar and workshop on climate justice education for the DICE (Development and Intercultural Education) Project. Thereafter, members of the CHRCE team visited Sidmouth in May 2015 for two days of joint planning. On 9 November 2016 Fumiyo and David visited Dublin City University to co-facilitate a teacher workshop with Rowan Oberman and then to speak at the launch of Rowan’s new primary climate change resource, Creating Futures.
