Sustainability Frontiers: Critical and Transformative Voices from the Borderlands of Sustainability Education
We are delighted to announce the impending publication of the above-titled book edited by David Selby and Fumiyo Kagawa published to mark the closing year of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-14).
Applying a critical lens to the field of Education for Sustainable Development, the fourteen contributions speak from outside the normal confines of sustainability-related education and offer insights, ideas, and proposals for transformative learning, free of the unsustainable ‘business as usual’ assumptions and tenor of much of education for sustainable development.
Sustainability Frontiers is being published in paperback by Barbara Budrich Publishers. Additional to David and Fumiyo, Sustainability Frontiers as an organization is represented in the collection of papers by five Associate Members: Leo Elshof (Canada), Steve Garlick (Australia), Gillian Judson (Canada), Kumi Kato (Japan) and Sue McGregor (Canada). Sustainability Frontiers colleagues are joined by six other leading academics from Asia, Europe, North and South America.
