The International Baccalaureate (IB) Global Centre in The Hague has commissioned David Selby and Fumiyo Kagawa to critically review the IB Learner Profile, the ten attributes reflecting the holistic nature of an IB education, through the lens of transformative sustainability education with a view to enhancing the Learner Profile.
The aim of all IB programmes (i.e. the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme, the Diploma Programme, the Career-related Programme) is ‘to develop internationally-minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.’
The review us to be submitted to the Global Centre later this month.
